So Slideaholics wandered on up the highway to the ALSO (Australian Longboard Surfing Open) on Saturday. We were hoping to catch the women’s and men’s semis. But due an unavoidable program change due to radical weather the day before. We were instead treated to the Nose rider, logs and open men’s divisions. So yeah sadly we missed the girls. But despite that, the level of sliding we saw in that lumpy tricky swell, was pretty bloody impressive as well. We certainly enjoyed it, and hope you do too. Happy hunting fellow sliders.
